3D Printing Services

Why Choose My Prints?

  • ⭐ Fast Turnaround — Most prints ship or are ready for pickup within 2–3 days.
  • Consistent Quality — Clean surfaces, strong layer adhesion, predictable results.
  • Professional-Grade Equipment — Precision prints using a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon.
  • Local Service — Based in Coos Bay/North Bend. No shipping delays — no “mystery tracking numbers.”
  • Custom Sizing & Iteration — Need three test versions? No problem. Rapid iteration is the whole point.

Good prototyping removes guesswork, builds confidence, and helps you validate ideas long before anything goes into production.

How It Works

1. Project Review & Feasibility

We start with a quick conversation about what you want to print and how it will be used. I’ll review size, function, tolerances, and material options to make sure the design is printable and suited to real-world use.

2. 3D Modeling & Preparation

From sketches, reference photos, or existing files, I create or refine a 3D model specifically for printing. This includes correct wall thickness, clearances, and geometry so the part prints cleanly and assembles properly.

3. Print Optimization & Test Fit

Before final production, I orient the model, choose print settings, and optimize for strength, surface quality, and efficiency. When needed, I’ll run a test print to verify fit, function, and finish before moving forward.

4. Final Print & Delivery

You receive the finished 3D printed part, cleaned and ready for use. Parts can be delivered as-printed or with light finishing, depending on the project, along with guidance for use, assembly, or future revisions.

Pricing & Estimates

Every 3D printing project is a little different. Pricing is based on factors like part size, material, print time, and whether any modeling or iteration is needed. That said, most projects fall into a few common ranges.

Simple Prints — typically $25–$40

Small parts using existing files, minimal setup, and straightforward printing. Typical examples include replacement parts, simple fixtures, or one-off items that don’t require revisions.

Custom Prints — typically $50–$150

Projects that need sizing adjustments, fit checks, or one or two test prints. This includes custom-designed parts, functional prototypes, and items where accuracy and usability matter.

Prototyping & Short Production Runs — $150–$400+ (quoted)

Multiple parts, repeat prints, or tighter tolerances. Pricing reflects material usage, print time, and the number of iterations required to get things right.

Materials & Finishing

Specialty filaments (strength-focused, flexible, or high-detail materials) and post-processing such as cleanup or finishing may add to the cost and are discussed up front.

You’ll always receive a clear estimate before anything is printed. If a project isn’t a good fit, that’s said early—no surprises, no pressure.

3D Printing FAQ

Answers to the most common questions about custom 3D printing and how the process works.

A brief description of what you’re trying to make is usually enough to start the conversation. If you already have a 3D file, great. If not, photos, sketches, measurements, or a physical reference can work just as well. We’ll sort out next steps together.

No. If you already have a printable file, I can work from that. If you don’t, I can help create or refine a model before printing. Modeling time is quoted separately based on complexity, and you’ll know that up front.

Most projects are printed in durable, high-quality PLA or PETG, which cover a wide range of everyday and functional uses. Other materials may be available depending on the application, strength requirements, or finish needed.

Many simple prints are completed within 2–3 days. Larger parts, custom designs, or projects that require test prints may take longer. Turnaround time is discussed before printing begins so there are no surprises.

Yes. Fit checks, test prints, and small adjustments are often part of the process—especially for functional parts. If multiple iterations are needed, that’s factored into the estimate and discussed ahead of time.

Yes. Short production runs and repeat prints are available once a design is finalized. Pricing depends on quantity, material usage, and print time, and is quoted per project.
