Eric Gooch
Founder & Designer
I’m Eric, the designer and 3D artist behind Coos Coast Creative.
Coos Coast Creative works at the intersection of design, technical problem-solving, and hands-on making.
Some projects start as a sketch or a digital file. Others begin with a physical object, an old photograph, or a rough idea that isn’t fully formed yet. The work is about taking those starting points and turning them into something clear, usable, and well-finished.
I’ve worked across both digital and physical projects for a long time, which makes it natural to move between screens and tools, software and materials. That perspective helps keep the full process in view—not just how something looks, but how it’s built, used, or preserved once it leaves the computer. My work in illustration began in the 1980s, followed by professional creative and technical work starting in the early 1990s, and now spans more than three decades across digital and hands-on projects.
The approach here is practical and straightforward. Projects usually start with a conversation, not assumptions. Options are explained clearly, without unnecessary complexity or services that don’t add real value. Some jobs need careful, detailed attention; others simply need a sensible solution. Knowing the difference matters.
Coos Coast Creative is a small, independent studio, not a production line or a faceless online service. The focus is on thoughtful work, clear communication, and results that hold up over time. If a project isn’t a good fit, that’s said early and honestly—no pressure, no overselling.
If you already know what you need, great. If you’re still figuring it out, that’s fine too. The goal is the same either way: make the process clear, the outcome solid, and the experience easy to work with.
